A very fine Art Deco ruby and diamond three stone ring set in 18 carat gold and platinum. This ring was beautifully made in the '30's-'40's by Hardy Brothers, an early Australian jewellery company famed for their high quality jewellery.
The ruby is especially lovely in this ring, a deep red with purple undertones of .50 carat; natural rubies like this are becoming ever increasingly more rare these days! It is set to each side with a brilliant cut diamond of .18 carat each with a good G colour, SI clarity. A well made and heavy simple claw set trilogy style ring in gleaming platinum and crisp 18 carat white gold shows off the colours and proportions of these stones to perfection.
A wonderful anniversary present, a lovely and eye catching engagement ring, or just a ring for yourself with the rare ruby to reflect your own rare achievement whatever that may be- sometimes it is just staying strong!
