1. How do I know I’m getting a genuine Art Deco/Antique piece of jewellery?
We provide you with an authenticated jewellery valuation from a reputable accredited jewellery valuer. All our items have been carefully scrutinised/checked for wear and tear, faults and general durability. Any repairs made will be pointed out in the description of the item. We only sell jewellery that we know can stand the test of time. If a piece of jewellery is in the antique or Art Deco style but is not old, it will be made clear in the item's description.
2. Is it possible to have a look at any of Darling Deco's jewellery?
Yes! Inga is based in Melbourne and you can contact her to arrange an appointment to look at any of the jewels. She can arrange a viewing time in Sydney or any of the other capital cities too. Please contact her to explore this possibility.
3. What if I am not happy or don’t like the piece of jewellery when I see it, or if she/he doesn’t like it?
At Darling Deco, we understand the complex and deeply personal nature of buying a piece of jewellery, either for yourself or someone else, that is why we offer a no quibbles, no fuss, prompt return money back policy. Please just let Inga know within one week (7 days) of receiving the piece of jewllery that you will be returining the item, and do so within another three (3) more days.Then, as soon as the piece is received, your money will be refunded within two (2) days.
If you need a longer period of time for the Money Back Guarantee to be extended due to any reason- just Ask Inga, as this is completely possible!
4. Is it safe to buy online?
Yes! The methods of payment at Darling Deco are either credit card facilities through PayPal, or a direct bank transfer EFT. Please contact Inga if you wish to use EFT to make a purchase. For any other purchase, you can either log in as a Paypal registered user, or make a one off payment through Paypal using your credit card. Mastercard, Visa and American Express. This method of payment uses encrypted software and secure gateway for payment. It is a safe, guaranteed, secure and proven way to buy online. It is also very easy!
5. Do you have a jeweller to resize the ring if it doesn’t fit and how will that work?
Yes! We have professional jewellers who can expertly resize almost all of our rings (if we think a ring will be tricky or not possible to size it is stated in the item’s description). It is a matter of either posting the item back to resize or taking it into our jewellers in Melbourne CBD. We include the sizing costs in the price, if you prefer to have your own jeweller or a jeweller more conveniently located for your resize, we are happy to deal with them and pay for the work. We have jewellers in Sydney and in Adelaide to resize your ring!
6. Do you have Lay-by facilities?
Yes! Happy to put a piece of jewellery away for up to 12 weeks, with a 20% deposit. You can make this deposit through Paypal, or EFT, please contact Inga for Layby set up.
7. Do you offer after sales care for your jewellery?
Yes we do; we offer a once a year free check up of your piece and a complimentary clean and polish. If this piece is a ring, that includes checking of the claws (if it has any), and a general maintenance check. And this includes a complimentary polish and sparkle just before the wedding date!
