Morganite is a rare pastel coloured gem stone belonging to the Beryl family. This is the same gemstone family that both Aquamarines and Emeralds belong to, and Morganite can be referred to as a 'pink emerald'. It's colour ranges from soft pale rose coloured hues, and lighter purple tints, to some deeper shades of orange.
This one is a deep, dusky champagne pink that looks so perfect with the rose cut diamonds encircling it's soft glow.
The morganite is 1.0 carat and the diamonds total .15 carat.
A lovely original Art Deco ring; the top is made from hard wearing platinum and the band is a substantial and rounded 18 carat yellow gold. It is possibly English or early Australian, and dates to circa 1925.
An unusual and very pretty ring- also practical and durable, its an original Art Deco treasure waiting for you to put on your finger, or your loved one's finger and to treasure it there forever!
It comes with an independent valuation and we could size it to fit!
