A Victorian necklace that could be worn on its own, or with a locket hanging from the bolt ring.
This is a versatile and wearable piece of antique jewellery. The necklace is in excellent condition, and would date back to the turn of the century circa 1900. As it is hollow, the sterling silver is not too heavy and, when on, it has a wonderful smoothness and sits flat.
The ball decorations on each link give it a casual look. For a 100 year old piece of jewellery, it has a contemporary air, and could be worn as it is, or for special occasions with a large silver locket or pendant hanging from the front.
It would be a useful addition to a jewellery wardrobe, or the start of your own antique jewellery collection!
The necklace measures 47cms in length.
